The Amsterdam Marathon is an annual running event organized by Le Champion, held on the third Sunday of October in and around Amsterdam. Since 2011, the marathon has been known as the TCS Amsterdam Marathon, featuring the main distance of 42.195 km. In 2020, the event received the Platinum Label Race designation from World Athletics, placing it among the top 12 world marathons. In 2023, 20,000 participants registered for the full marathon and 20,000 for the half marathon.
