The Genneper Parken Loop traditionally takes place on the first Sunday of the new year and is all about celebrating the new year in a healthy and enjoyable way. On Sunday, January 5, 2025, the 17th edition of the Genneper Parken Loop will kick off, featuring running and walking routes through the Genneper Parken and the grounds of the High Tech Campus. The event offers something for everyone, from young to old and from beginner to advanced, with distances of 5 km, 10 km, and a special kids' run of 1.5 km. Additionally, there are walking routes of 3 km (wheelchair accessible) and 10 km. The proceeds from the event will go to the Genneper Parken Bulls, which provides people with physical disabilities the opportunity to play hockey.
