The Iron Man Volksloop is a well-known event in Weert and the surrounding area. Since 1980, AV Weert has organized this fun run in the nature reserve the Iron Man, held every first Sunday of the month. Youth can participate in distances of 1.3 km and 2.5 km, starting at 9:30 AM, while seniors can choose from various distances ranging from 4 km to 15.5 km, with the first start at 10:00 AM. This run also features a youth category where participants can earn points for prizes that will be awarded in November 2024.
