The Kaagloop Wervershoof is one of the first running races in West Friesland after the cross-country season and takes place annually on the last Sunday of January. In 2026, this will be on Sunday, January 25. The course is fast and entirely on paved asphalt, starting from the Westrand sports park. The route leads through the village of Wervershoof and along the Kagerbos and the IJsselmeer dike.
