The Kruikenloop is an energetic, playful, and festive kickoff to the carnival in Tilburg, and has been a longstanding tradition in Kruikenstad for years. The organization has been in the hands of Tilburg Road Runners and RKSV Sarto since 1987. The course runs partly through the nearby Stadsbos 013 and offers distances of 5, 10, and 15 kilometers, with a youth race of 1,111 meters for young talents. After the finish, the celebration kicks off in the Sarto canteen, where everyone can celebrate their victory.
