The Univé Leekster Lente Loop is a run for everyone, with distances for young and old. This event includes competitive races, recreational runs, frame running, a school run, and walking tours, and takes place at the beautiful Nienoord Estate, with the start and finish in the center of Leek. Whether you aim for a fast time or just want to join in for fun; this is your spring running moment. For the youth, there are shorter races of 500 and 1500 meters, and for participants with a motor impairment, there are frame running events.

Highlights

  • Runners can choose from race distances of 5, 10, or 21 km.
  • For elementary school students, there is a schoolchildren's run where they run laps for half an hour and collect stamps.
  • There are also beautiful walking routes mapped out of 10, 16, or 25 km, and there is music and enthusiastic commentary from the speakers at the start and finish.
