The Menzis 4 Mijl of Groningen is the largest running festival in Northern Netherlands and takes place in October. This race covers a distance of 4 miles (6.4 km) and offers a festive atmosphere with a record number of participants; the 37th edition attracted no less than 25,000 runners. On Sunday, October 12, the 38th edition will take place, where you will run from Haren to the Vismarkt in Groningen over an iconic and traditional course. Along the way, thousands of spectators will cheer you on, and after crossing the finish line, you will receive a well-deserved medal as a memento.
