Welcome to the Mescherbergloop, a true classic among mountain runs in the Netherlands, which has been making the hearts of runners race for over 30 years. Organized by the Maasrunners, this annual event takes place in the breathtaking landscape of the Savelsbos, near Eijsden and the picturesque village of Mesch (municipality of Eijsden-Margraten). This event is suitable for both young and old, featuring a special Kidsrun for the youngest participants. Runners can choose from various challenging distances: 6 km, 10 km, 16 km, and even a half marathon of 21 km.

Highlights

  • The Mescherberg Run is a challenging running race held annually on the third Sunday in December.
  • The course is unpaved and largely runs through the Savelsbos and the hills surrounding the village of Mesch.
